Day 1: Arrival in Tangier

Arrival at Tangier airport or port where your driver from Morocco Travel Igoudan welcomes you.

Tangier is a historic port city located at the meeting point of the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea and has long been a cultural crossroads between Europe and Africa.

Visit highlights including:

  • Kasbah Museum overlooking the Strait of Gibraltar

  • Cap Spartel where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean

  • Caves of Hercules, a famous natural cave linked to Greek mythology

  • Overnight: Tangier

Tangier → Chefchaouen

After breakfast depart through the scenic Rif Mountains toward Chefchaouen.

Chefchaouen is famous for its blue painted streets and relaxed mountain atmosphere.

Enjoy a walking tour through the beautiful medina including:

  • Plaza Uta el-Hammam

  • The Kasbah

  • Local artisan markets

Enjoy sunset views from the Spanish Mosque above the town.

Chefchaouen → Rabat

Drive south toward Rabat, Morocco’s elegant capital located on the Atlantic coast.

Rabat → Meknes → Volubilis → Fes

Enjoy a short walk through the canyon before continuing to the beautiful Dades Valley, famous for its kasbahs and dramatic rock formations.

Dades → Ouarzazate → Ait Ben Haddou → Marrakech

Travel along the famous Road of a Thousand Kasbahs.
